Writing For The Lord

Every since I was a little girl, I have written Gods holy word
He sends it to me to write it down, he wants it to be heard

I speak to him everyday and he tells me what to say
Then I sit and write it down in a poetic kind of way

He has given me such a gift and I try to use it well
I'm glad that he trusted me and his words I gladly tell

Some folks say to me, you write so beautifully
And i just proudly say, I just write the words God gives to me.

For he is the real poet I am just his pen
To him goes all the glory and on that you can depend
