Well there you are son, said Ted as he stood to shake his hand. Hi dad, hi mom, sorry I was late I picked up some flowers for Margo. Well they are beautiful said Marilyn. Thanks mom said Daniel and he leaned over and kissed her cheek. Then he looked around to see if Margo was coming, and then he said but not as beautiful as this, and with that said he opened the ring box. Oh my goodness, said Marilyn, you are right son. Wow said Ted then he laughed and said, do I pay you enough for that. Daniel stuck it back into his pocket, and the three of them laughed. 

About that time Margo walked into the room. my goodness she said, someone is in a good mood. Daniel walked over and put his arms around her and said, yeah sweetie, dad was just telling me he needed to give me a raise. Well, said Ted, that’s not exactly what I said, but I think it is about time I do. Great said Margo more money never hurts, and then she laughed. Well anyway, she said dinner is ready. Good said Ted, cause I am starving. Marilyn said, Come on Ted, let’s give the kids a few minutes alone and off the two of them went. 

After his parents left the room, Daniel smiled at Margo and said, wow, that's some dress, it’s beautiful, but then you look good in anything he said, then smiled at her and said, have I told you lately that I love you  Margo white? Why yes you have Daniel Rodgers, but it’s always nice to hear it again. Then she kissed him and said, we better not keep them waiting, so they went off to join the others in the kitchen.

Latter after everyone had eaten dinner, Joanne said, I made a special desert for dinner, you did say Margo I didn't see anything .oh I brought it home with me, said Joanne. But it's a little big, so Daniel if you don't mind,  can you help me with it? Daniel said, sure I  would be happy to help. Margo sat there with a look of confusion on her face. Daniel said, Margo the dinner was wonderful, you have done enough and I don't mind helping so off to the kitchen went Daniel and Joanne.  

in a few minutes they came back Daniel held a large serving tray, filled with desert bowls. Starting at the far end of the table he set out the desert bowls, when he got to Margo he said this one my love, is just for you. Well thank you Daniel she said, then she looked down at the dish, she couldn't believe her eyes. There in the bowl was the ring box, was the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. She looked at Daniel with tears in her eyes, he had gotten down on one knee, he reached out and took her hand in his and said, Margo Elisabeth white, will you do me the honor of being my wife ?she looked into those baby blue eyes of his and said, yes, oh yes, a million times yes. I love you Daniel Rodgers and I can't wait to be your wife. Just like Margo, Joanne and Marilyn had tears pouring down their cheeks. Bob and Ted looked at each other. Then bob said, women they will cry over anything, and then he and Ted laughed. Finally Margo was able to speak without crying, she looked at her parents and his and she said, you guys knew all about this didn't you, then she hugged them all.

Later after dinner, she and Daniel went for a drive her head was still spinning from all the excitement. so she laid her head on Daniels shoulder. And she put her hand on his knee. Then she said, I love you Daniel thank you for such a beautiful evening, you are welcome my love but this is only the beginning. I know said Margo I can hardly wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I feel the same way Margo, then he pulled the car over to the side of the road, and took her in his arms and kissed her and said, don’t you worry about anything Margo, our plans are right on track. 
I know said Margo, but sometimes I’m scared that something will go wrong. He put his hand under her chin, and he lifted her head, where she was staring into his beautiful baby blue eyes, and said, look at me Margo, nothing or no one can take me from you. I promise you that. And then he kissed her, and she knew in her heart, he was right.
