Margo returns to Magnolia Lane

Margo jumped to her feet said, no you can’t do that to her, grandma told me her life began at magnolia lane and she wants it to end there. I won’t let you put her in some nursing home. I will go to Georgia and take care of her myself. Joanne said, now Margo that is a lot of responsibility, and what about you’re wedding? Well said Margo, the wedding is going to be at magnolia lane anyway, so that will give me time to clean up around there. What about Daniel? What about him, said Margo? He has his work to keep him busy; we can talk on the phone as much as we want. And it’s not that long of a ride to Georgia. He can come up on the weekends. And misty can go with me, can’t you misty? Sure I can said misty, I would love to see magnolia lane. Then it is settled said Margo, and there is no need to argue with me mom, I have made up my mind. Joanne knew how stubborn Margo could be, so she said, ok Margo, but I can’t let you take all the  responsibility, I will come up every other week end and give you a hand. Then she hugged Margo, and with tears running down her face, she said, gosh I am so proud of the woman you have become. And I know it will make mom happy to stay at magnolia lane.

Then Margo turned her attention towards Dr. Roberts, and she said so Dr. Roberts how long do you think grandma has? Well said Dr Roberts, I’m not really sure; we’ll have to wait and see how she does. I know she misses Sam very much, sometimes when people loses someone close to them they give up. They feel there is no reason to go on. But Mary is a very strong willed woman. And I believe that she will fight as hard as she can to stay around. After all she has a wedding to get ready for, and I know she is looking forward to that. She talks a lot about you Margo, and she is looking forward to your wedding, she said magnolia lane will be alive again, like it was in the old days. Well said Margo, I will leave this weekend and get things ready for her to come home.

Ok said Dr Roberts, it will be about two weeks before she’ll be released. so I guess I’ll see you then. Ok said Margo, and thanks Dr Roberts. He said no problem just doing my job. I became a Dr, because of people like Mary and Sam. Mary is one of the sweetest lady’s I have ever known. She would give you her last dollar if you needed it. And Sam was a great guy, always friendly and helpful to everyone he met, it has been a pleasure knowing both of them. Then he looked at his watch and said, wow I had better get to the airport before I miss my flight. You folks take care and we’ll be talking soon. Ok, and thanks again Dr. Roberts for taking the time to come here, said Joanne. You are welcome Mrs. White, and it’s been a pleasure seeing you again. She walked him to the door and then he left.
