It's been 2 weeks since Margo found out for sure she's pregnant. she is 4 and a half months, She and Daniel are so excited. Every one has been checking on her, to make sure she is not over doing. Joanne called her that morning with some exciting news. she said, the construction company Bob works for has opened a branch in Atlanta and wants Bob to be head engineer over the construction crew ,it will mean a big pay raise, so Joanne won't have to work unless she wants too. She said, Marilyn has asked me to help her with the clinic. I know I am a ER nurse, but I'm looking forward to the change and, Marilyn is so excited to have some help with the clinic. Wow mom, that's great, and you will be so much closer. to tell you the truth I will be so happy to have you closer, So when the baby gets here you can teach me all there is to raising kids. Joanne laughed and said ,we'll I'm not an expert at it, but I'll be glad to help. Well since dad is going to be working in Atlanta, and you'll be here at the clinic, where are you guys going to live? Well ,I saw a sweet little place just outside of town that I liked, it's jack Carlson's old place. He passed away about 3 months ago, and his daughter is selling it. I remember that place ,said Margo. I went to school with his daughter, her name is Beth isn't it? yes, that's her, she lost her mom a few years ago in a car wreck, and jack just died about 3 months ago, I think she said of cancer. wow that's a shame, said Margo, but that is a cute house. there are 3 bedrooms so I can make one a Childs room and dad a study out of the other one. oh, already planning for a sleep over with grandma huh, said Margo and she laughed. of course said Joanne, I can hardly wait .then she said I had better get off here and get to work she said. ok mom goodbye talk to you later, I love you.

Then Margo went to check on grandma Mary, she had been in the kitchen putting up some peas, that she and Margo had shelled. it reminded Margo of the time she and grandma shelled peas ,the day she and Daniel met. She felt the  baby kick. she rubbed her belly and said, wow little one, you have quite a punch, take it easy on mommy please. About that time she reached the kitchen, but she didn't see grandma at first, then as she was going around to the sink she saw her, she was lying on her right side on the floor. Margo ran to the phone and then to her grandmother as she dialed 911 she called out to Mary, rubbing her face and hands. She checked for a pulse it was very low, the ambulance said they would be there shortly. Margo hung up the phone then called Dr Roberts. He said he would meet them at the hospital. Then Margo called Marilyn and Misty at the clinic, they said they would meet her at the hospital. Margo sat beside grandma Mary and held her hand. Crying she said, ok old woman, don't you dare leave me now, please I need you grandma. you have to be here to see this baby come into the world. she sobbed and prayed. grandma's eyes fluttered but Margo wasn't sure if she could hear her or not. The paramedics arrived and Margo hoped every thing would be okay. They were putting her in the ambulance ,then the driver said, I am sorry Mrs. Rodgers it doesn't look good ,we'll meet you at the hospital. Thanks said Margo, I'll see you there. Margo grabbed her phone and started out the door ,she thought I had better call mom back so she got her cell phone and made the call .

Joanne knew right away something was wrong she could tell by Margo's voice .Margo stuttered a few times and Joanne said, Margo just tell me is it mom? yes it is, I found her on the floor in the kitchen. she was unconscious. They are taken her to Atlanta, I am so scared mom, what if she don't make it ?Margo don't get stressed out, remember you are pregnant call Daniel so he can be with you, I'll catch the next plane out honey, just tell her I'm coming, and I love her. Ok mom I'll tell her, see you soon. Then she called Daniel, and he said he would meet her at the hospital. She tried not to worry, but that was the longest 2 hour ride she had ever taken . She pulled into the ER parking lot of the hospital and parked. She sat there and prayed that grandma would be ok, then she went inside.
