My Friend

I'd like you to meet a friend of mine.
His name is Jesus and he's divine.
His friendship to me is one of a kind.
There is no better friend than mine.

His love for me is like no other.
Even more than that of my sweet mother.
If I love Him when I die,
He will take me home on high.

Up to heaven we will go.
This is true and I do know,
Because my friend Jesus tells me so.
