SILENT  TEARS

SILENT TEAR'S ARE SHED EACH DAY,
FOR ALL THE PAIN THAT WON'T GO AWAY.

THE HURT THAT SHOWS IN A LITTLE ONES EYES,
NO MATTER HOW HARD THEY TRY TO DISGUISE.

THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG,
AND THEY HAVE FELT UNLOVED FOR SO LONG.

AT NIGHT THEY SHED THOSE'S SILENT TEARS,
AS EACH NEW DAY THEY HIDE THE FEAR.

PAIN AND HURT IS ALL THEY KNOW,
ON AND ON IT SEEMS TO GO.

I WANT TO TO SEE A SMILING FACE,
TO SEE THE PAIN GONE EVERY TRACE.

TO SEE A HAPPY ,SMILING CHILD,
WOULD MAKE IT ALL WORTH WHILE.

I WOULD WORK TILL DAY IS DONE,
BUT I'M ONLY ONE IT CAN'T BE DONE.

WON'T YOU LEND A HAND TODAY,
AND MAKE THE PAIN ALL GO AWAY.

THESE CHILDREN ARE BORN TO BE LOVED,
THEY ARE GIFT'S SENT DOWN FROM GOD ABOVE.

NOT TO BE BEATEN AND SEXUALLY ABUSED,
AND THROWN AWAY LIKE YESTERDAYS NEWS.

WE MUST TAKE A STAND AND NOT LET THEM BE LOST,
WE MUST PROTECT THEM NO MATTER THE COST.

PLEASE TAKE A STAND DON'T LET THOSE TEARS FALL,
LETS STOP THE SILENT TEARS ONCE AND FOR ALL.
