Tootsie's Prayer

It's me God, Tootsie. And though I can't see,
I can feel your love all around me.

I know our crosses, sometimes are hard to bear.
But that's alright because I know that you care.

In your word I take great heed,
And faith in your love is all that I need.

someday I'll walk on golden shores.
And pain for me will be no more.

Until that time I feel safe in your love,
My heavenly father up above.

Written for my oldest sister: Agnes Ramirez, whom we called Tootsie.
Who lost her sight and both legs to Diabetes.
Then in June of 1999, she went to be with the Lord.
Now she walks on those golden shores and can see the beauty around her.
She is greatly missed but never forgotten. We love you Sis.
