Without Warning

Our country America was caught without warning.
On September eleventh around eight in the morning.
Two planes crashed into New York's twin towers.
Leaving thousands dead in a matter of hours.

America was blinded by her justice for all.
She couldn't believe till she saw her buildings fall.
That hatred could live on American sand.
Where liberty stands in the harbor for every man.

America cried for her people that day.
Gathered her children and knelt down to pray.
Dear Lord above watch over this land.
Bless them dear Lord and help them to mend.

Then she stood proud and tall and said,
Thanks, and Amen!
