Joanne walked into the bedroom just as Bob was getting out of the shower. He stood there wrapped in a towel, looking for his clothes. Joanne reached over and kissed him. Then said, how was work today honey? It was ok said Bob, a bit slower then it usually is. So, he said, what made you so late today? Joanne reached into her purse and pulled out a tiny jewelry box, this, she said. Is that what I think it is, said Bob? Yes, said Joanne, she pulled the box open, and there sat a beautiful ring, it was a small white gold band with a large diamond in the middle and small sapphires around it. 

Bob, said that must have cost him a small fortune. Why did you have to pick it up? Because the jewelry store would have been closed before he got off, said Joanne. Oh I see said Bob then he laughed and said, so do you think she'll say yes? Joanne couldn't help laughing as she said, I doubt if he can get it out of his mouth, before she says yes. Then they both laughed. Bob said ok you better get dressed and I’ll go wait for our guests. Take the box with you and give it to Daniel, but don't let Margo see it. Don’t worry I won't said Bob, and he headed downstairs. He was just about downstairs when he heard the doorbell. I'll get it he  said. He opened the door and their stood Ted and Marilyn, come on in, and have a seat you two. I’ll go check on dinner .on the way to the kitchen the doorbell rang again, Bob opened the door again it was Daniel, well hello  Daniel, it’s good to see you, and he reached his hand out to shake Daniels hand. As he did he slid the ring box into Daniels hand. Good to see you too Mr. White thanks. Go ahead and have a seat in the living room, your  parents are already in there, and I’ll go check on the ladies and dinner. Ok said Daniel and off to the living room he went.
