Chapter 6    Page 7
Goodbye to Grandma Mary

After the girls drank their tea, they decided  to go into Atlanta to the J C Penny's store and pick up the sheets they had ordered, for the beds, that would be in the next day. All the rooms had been painted and pictures had been hung. They were old black and white prints of magnolia lane, taken at different times. Margo loved them and thought they would look nice hung in the rooms. So she ordered big 16 by 20's of them for all the rooms. She had also found the old pitcher and bowls in the attic, that people used to set on the dresser or night stands to wash up with before they had running water. She cleaned them up and put them in the rooms too. The old place was really looking good, she thought to her self. I just hope that it does good as a bed and breakfast, it was grandma Mary's dream now mine too.

Misty, who, was driving, spoke up and said, you are really quite over there what are you thinking about? Margo said, Magnolia Lane of course ,I was just thinking about how great everything is looking, I think grandma would be so happy if she could see it. Then she choked back the tears as she said, I just wish she could be here to see her dream come true. Who says she won't be, said misty. Yeah you're right, knowing grandma she will find a way if she can. It's just that I miss her so much Misty, Magnolia Lane is just not the same without her. I know said misty I miss her too. She loved magnolia lane so much. But she knew you and Daniel would take good care
of it. And we will, magnolia lane will never be forgotten, not as long as I live anyway, and hopefully our children will feel the same. I will make sure they know all about magnolia lane, and their family heritage. especially  the woman who made this place so special.
