Someone New In Our Home

This little bundle of bubbly joy
That has come into our lives, we truly adore.

He brings happiness and purpose to a saddened old heart
And gives me hope for a future, for a brand new start.

I love waking up and seeing his smiling face
In my heart he has filled a special place.

His eyes they sparkle as they take in the sites
As he sleeps they flutter as he dreams through the night.

My hopes for this sweet little baby boy,
Is that his life is filled with love and with joy.
