Thank you for this little one

God bless this little one you've brought into our life's,
The best thing that has happened since we've became husband and wife.
We thank you for all the pleasure, he  gives us dear Lord.
And you know there's not a day with him that we could possibly be bored.

He is the light in all the darkness that every night does bring,
He is even sweeter then a warm September rain.
He has both of our hearts wrapped lord, so very tight,
I love to watch his little face when he sleeps at night.

So thank you Lord for entrusting us with this precious little soul,
He means more to us then than any silver or gold.
We promise to love him Lord and to cherish him every day.
Even when we're old and gray and he's long since moved away.
